Government / Military Officials + Astronauts say Aliens are here and the shadow government hates them

Summary: Video shows clips from all of greers best high level witnesses, from apollo astronaut, news reports from the 40s including roswell, NASA STS footage of Alien Craft in space, and much much more\

2 Miles in diameter space craft! Missile like creatures moving behind the clouds, and this:
[FONT=Verdana, Lucida, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Houston, this is discovery, we still have the alien spacecraft under observance

Cannot be debunked without bending the truth into lies!

My god... we could ally ourselves with the aliens to defeat the shadow government! OF COURSE!

Amazing. These UFOs are absolutely everywhere, and yet somehow - I've never seen one. I guess I'm just unlucky

An HOUR and half long? You must be joking. I'm not watching that!

Anyone be arsed to skip through and find the quote starling.logic has in his OP? Does it actually say "alien spacecraft"?

Wow! What evidence!

At 00:01:54 -

Astronaut 1: Looks like you've got an object right in front of you, Mark. Can you look out there?

Astronaut 2: I don't see what you are talking about.

Astronaut 1: Nevermind.

Honestly, one of the silliest programs I have ever seen. It rivals Loose Change in production quality.

As regards the psace shuttle quote: "Houston, this is Discovery, we still have the alien spacecraft under [observance?]:

A recording of this quote was reportedly made by a ham radio operator during a Discovery mission on March 14, 1989. The voice was reputed to be either Michael Coats, Commander, or John Blaha, the pilot.

It is darn near impossible to find the truth about this event. Almost every site on the web that refrences it are UFO sites that all quote each other. In fact, I found many that were simply cut and pasted word-for-word descriptions of the event.

However, some things should be known when listening to this line:

1. NASA denies it ever happened.
2. The recording is almost eighteen years old and has been making the UFO rounds without picking up any momentum for all that time.
3. The recording was made by a ham radio operator who himself was a big UFO enthusiast.
4. The one line is entirely out of context - there is no dialogue before it or after it to give anyone any idea what may have been going on.
5. The phrase "under observance" isn't really english. The very careful all-American crew may not have used such a phrase.
6. The audio clip is in one of the stupidest movies about UFOs that I have ever seen.

So...You believe it too then?

:alien011:

:D

I agree about the movie being a UFO version of Loose Change; its actually worse in many aspects IMO. I made it to about the 10 minute mark before deciding not to waste another hour on it. Did I miss anything good? :)

I watched alot of it, it was funny. Apparently there's these beings called 'tubes' that live in our upper atmosphere.

I'm not going to waste an hour and a half of my life to find out, but I wonder if the "apollo astronaut" was the same guy who nearly killed himself whilst bumbling about on Mt. Ararat looking for Noah's Ark.

Spoiler...

He never found it.

The recording was made by a ham radio operator? The number of "hams" who are capable of monitoring transmissions from the Shuttle in 1989 can be counted on the fingers of one hand...two hands with some fingers left over at the most. And I probably know all of them. So- please provide the call letters of this mystery "ham" for starters.

Grrr ... it's in my search history somewhere. Okay, this is from the website http://www.20kweb.com/weird_stuff/ufo_sightings_by_astronauts.html. Virtually every web resource I found about this recording was word-for-word identical to this.

UFO Website Full Of Nonsense said:
The previous statement was recorded by Baltimore resident Donald Ratsch (MUFON member) from a HAM radio rebroadcast between the space shuttle Discovery and Houston ground control.

The HAM broadcast was direct from the shuttle without going through the delayed filter used on the official NASA public feed. The NASA select audio channel did not contain this one way broadcast from the shuttle to ground control. The HAM station making the rebroadcast was WA3NAN Goddard Amateur Radio Club in Greenbelt, MD transmitting on 147.450 MHZ. Preliminary analysis shows that the voice could be either Michael Coats (Commander) or John E. Blaha (pilot). The recording was sent for further expert voice analysis the results of which are unknown at this time to the author.

Disclaimer: Just because I posted info does not mean that I believe that it is in any way true.

Rods?

Rods?

Geezus. You have GOT to be kidding!

And the freaking tether video again. Which I have debunked here.

And it looks to me like some still shots of known UFO hoaxes were used in this video. But I just can't get myself to care enough.

Wrong. As a ham operator, I listened to many of these shuttle comm feeds on VHF repeaters in the 80's. Such VHF repeater clubs simply obtained the NASA public feed and routed it to broadcast on their repeater output, enabling local hams to listen in to shuttle comms. Such feeds were NOT "direct from the shuttle".

Yeah, well it didn't make sense that it was a "rebroadcast" that was also "direct from the shuttle". If it was a rebroadcast, it was sent out by NASA. Now, I'm not sure why NASA would censor their comms at all, but the whole story just makes very little sense.

From http://garc.gsfc.nasa.gov/retransmission/shuttle_faq.html

Q: Why Do Other Hams Interfere With Shuttle Retransmissions?

A: Contrary to popular belief, Radio Amateurs share the frequencies we are allotted by the FCC and our license class. All are free to use the frequencies whenever they want and may not even realize that they are on top of our signal. During missions, we ID the station frequently to let others know that the frequency is in use.

So it's quite possible that the voice which refers to "the alien spacecraft" was a ham transmitting on top of the club station signal as a prank.

I watched to the bit where it said "Somewhere, in the back of your mind..." 15 seconds is pushing the threshhold of having my intelligence insulted.
