I like Phil Plait better every time he says something.

I hope he doesn't get too worried about people calling him a jerk though. When you're addressing as many and as varied of people as comprise the internet, if no one thinks that you're a jerk, than you probably don't have much of a message.

Basically I think just want the right people to hate you. Like that guy Buzz Aldrin punched: you want that guy to think you're a jerk. You want that guy to hate you. Now on the other hand, you really don't want Buzz to think you're a jerk, because, I mean, He'll friggin clock you!
