Donald Trump hosted SNL.
In the past, it's been a mixed bag for politicians. I always believed McCain conceded defeat on SNL when he appeared in a sketch near election day to say he was out of money. Fey, as Palin, went "rogue" and tried to sell her own t-shirts.
Obama made almost no make in his brief appearance.
HRC, I think, humanized herself very well.
What did you think of the episode and of the impact on the Trump campaign?
To me, he was jocular, but he allowed all of the old jokes about him to continue. He never attempted to be much of anything other than what SNL has painted him as for decades. He came off rich, unable to explain how he was going to provide the prosperity he talks about, and disconnected from the audience of the show. I don't think he hurt himself, but I doubt he'll see a bump from the appearance.
