I was over on the LC forums after reading KTs thread and decided to peruse the "debate" section when I came accross Dylan Avery posting this drivel about the WTC:
The Titanic!!
I was ready to prepare my own Titanic conspiracy theory with the same old, "unsinkable" claims, the book Futility, etc... when I found out that the Jesuits apparently conspired to sink the Titanic!
I was already aware of the insurance scam theory, but that wasn't ambitious enough apparently... Isn't there some point where a CTer looks at him/herself in a mirror and asks, "how f'n crazy am I?"
I suppose he finally figured out there was quite a bit more energy released than the solo 707 flying in on approach through the fog that it was originally designed to withstand... Anyway, it made me remember another famous build that was designed to withstand quite a heavy impact and survive. How about the people who designed the WTC saying it was designed to withstand multiple (read: more than one) impacts from a 707?
