...he volunteered and is now "in the sh!t."

I am proud of him and I let him know. He is from Dallas (actually a mid-city suburb called Irving).

He is not killed or anything dramatic like that, I just wanted to start a thread about these people.

Used to live in Dallas (Carrolton) and never had a problem with crime, though I probably contributed to it a little in my own [cough, cough] way.
 
You need to play with the levels a little more to brighten his face.

I may disagree with what started all this, but our soldiers are doing important work there now. I can salute anyone who pledges to stand in harm's way for my freedom, and furthermore swears to take orders from whomever we vote for.

I met Manny in 95-96 while playing a LARP (Amtgard) in North Dallas.

He was a 16 year-old punk kid with long hair (sides shaved in the fashion of the day) and a fan of kung-fu movies and anime.

Over the years we became commrads in the game and friends besides. The last time I saw him (before he joined up) he was playing in a club lacross game.

Fired a "Desert Eagle" recently....a .50 cal handgun!.....everyone at the range put down their weapons and came over to see what the f*** it was....

c0rbin, if he`s your friend I guess you can ask him anything.
Why not ask him how he feels about putting his life on the line in a war that is a concocted fraud.

If you get around to it I hope you`ll let us know what he says.
