When I'm down at my mom's Fox News serves as a kind of background noise. So while I was down there last time I was just kind of noticing little things they talked about and included in their broadcast. Things Fox News seems to take as established fact that is new to me.
Things like:
This is an incomplete list of all the things you can learn but this was just the things they touched on (or didn't with the Nancy Grace thing) while I was watching. I must say that if this kind of misinformation can be packed into just two hours what are they talking about the rest of the time?
Things like:
- Greece went bankrupt because it had universal healthcare
- Letting a transexual person on Dancing With the Stars, even though the gender thing is never mentioned on the show, will somehow cause kids to start hacking off their genitalia
- Having Nancy Grace flash her boobs on the same show is somehow not worth mentioning
- The EPA has killed more jobs than the recession
- The dude that called Obama the Anti-Christ at a recent fundraiser might have been technically right but was still wrong to do it the way he did
