Roughly half the people in America are about to find out about their LFEP (Leopard Face Eating Party). Since Trump allies, private sector quietly prepare for mass detention of immigrants, I'm thinking a whole lot of latino men who wanted to live in a "Christian Nation" are about to find out the hard way that America's promise is not meant for them.

The rhetoric inside the article is misleading. Oh? It's only going to be a few hardened criminals? So then why are we talking about MASS deportation.

Reddit Etymology

Leopards Eating People's Faces Party refers to a parody of regretful voters who vote for cruel and unjust policies (and politicians) and are then surprised when their own lives become worse as a result.

On October 16th, 2015, Twitter user @cavalorn tweeted, "'I never thought leopards would eat MY face,' sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party." The tweet became a common way to refer to regretful voters over the following five years.

i've kind of been told the media, except for a few outlets like fox news and joe rogan, censors right wing opinions and was completely unfair to conservatives. these are the same people who correctly predicted a trump presidency. conservatives will have complete control of all branches of the government in what feels like a mandate.

personally, i'm not particularly looking forward to a bunch of christian nationalists getting free reign of the government and trump's economic policies, at least his vague descriptions of what those are, sound like complete lunacy, and the kind of radical overhaul of important government functions, like regulating healthcare and environmental protections, sound horrible. but, on the other hand, i was apparently wrong in thinking harris was a better candidate, so i'm open to being wrong on something like thinking that cutting $2t out of the budget, while lowering fed rates and massive tariffs on imports, doesn't absolutely tank consumer spending for example. i guess the tradeoff is i get more christian rules to follow and less safe products and medicines.

but i'm open to being wrong. actually kind of hopeful the mass deportations wouldn't be for nothing.

He seems happy with the outcome.

"Guess what, and let me tell you this..." [Whispers into the microphone]

I'm one of the blamers who say he should have chosen and announced to not run again before the primaries. I hold no responsibility for that regret, since it wasn't in my hands.

I believe, perhaps naively, that this time will pass and eventually return to the path of political sanity.

That is what we all hope for. I have many many dear friends who are absolutely petrified, and for very good reasons. Right now I’m just trying to help them return to some semblance of steady, and if they’re not ready for that just standby in case they need to trauma dump.
It’s excruciating to find themselves back at the beginning, when they’d been safe for four years.
