"Despite my reservations against the science of homoeopathy," says Ennis, "the results compel me to suspend my disbelief and to start searching for a rational explanation for our findings."

i will be happy to educate you on these matters but first you must give up your closed minded ways.

the most hardcore of the flat earthers had to bite the bullet at some point. you eventually will have to do it also. just relax and don't fight it -- it will be easier if you don't fight it.
so who else is completely unaffected by the whole homeopathy "conspiracy"? Are you afraid homeopathy will turn out to be true and we will have to admit being wrong? Or are you aware of the great things that homeopathy could do if it turned out to be right, but just absolutely unconvinced by anything the homeopaths bring forward as compelling, undeniable truth?

Tell me in the poll.

Sorry I need another option.

... I am part of the scientific community, and we don't want those alternative types making up evidence and not accepting the standards of proof to which science is held. We have to fight them tooth and nail.

Well if 100 000 european doctors!.... it must be true! Olaf's arguments are so convincing, I cannot continue to remain unconvinced in the face of his peerless logic and the clear-cut, unambiguous scientific evidence he has presented.

I am now applying my thoughts to what other things europeans do in bulk that proves their actions are correct .......
Read horoscopes? View internet porn? Evade parking tickets? Fill in late tax returns? Believe in God?

Another vote for not abiding fabricated evidence...

I don't agree with any of those options. The reality is simple, show me a properly controlled, repeatable homeopathic trial that produces positive results and then I'll become interested.

What he said. I am well aware of the things that homeopathy could do if it turned out to be right, but I am absolutely unconvinced by any of the evidence so far brought to the table.

A badly written poll, I'm afraid.

(Actually, I have "seen some compelling studies that look very convincing," but they simply convince me that there is no (known) aspect of homeopathy that cannot be adequately explained via the placebo effect. I assume this isn't what you meant by that particular choice.)

I agree - not enough options.

I just gave some options off the top of my head. I also agree that the homeopaths' miserable excuse for evidence needs to be put down like the dying dog it is. I was just curious how many people would take option 3 or 4.

To the people who thought the answers were ambiguous, you bet :D Especially number 4. I think any evidence that seems convincing probably isn't when scrutinized, which is why I was so interested in knowing how many people would vote for it. There may be something to it, but so far, there's no indication to think there is.

I assumed everyone who disagreed with those options would pick the planet X cop-out or number one, the: "I don't get the fuss the homeo's are making about it". The "I couldn't care less" part is perhaps bad wording on my part. It was meant to be understood as "I don't believe in homeopathy and I don't really care about their feeling persecuted". The problems with polls though is that you can edit your post again, but not the poll questions themselves, and you can only see a couple of words at a time for every option you're entering.

I honestly didn't expect anyone to pick number 2 :D
Another clear sign of pseudo science is the claim that "the establishment" is trying to keep them down, persecuting them, there's a "conspiracy" going on, etc...
(I think homeopathy matches all of the signs by the way. Does anyone have that complete list somewhere?)
