On the off chance that anybody here might ever vote in a dem primary in Texas.....

Kesha Rogers represents the LaRouche group and, depending on your taste in syntax, either an attempt to reset the dem party to 1960 before the greens, Malthusians, and racists took it over, or an attempt at a hostile takeover of the dem party. The world would be just a tiny bit safer for all of us were they to succeed at it.

The LaRouche group DOES understand banking and monetary theory issues. Those issues are scary precisely because so few people understand them. The only US pol who I feel certain has understood that stuff in the last couple of decades is Dennis Kucinich, who the dems gerrymandered out of existence for their own purposes.

Kesha is running in the dem primary for US senate, John Cornyn's seat.

Racists took over the Democratic party?

Wait, like Lydon LaRouche, that LaRouche movement? 9/11 was an inside job, global warming is fake, misrepresenting who they are, internet troll tactics, LaRouche? Compound standoff having, private spy network, LaRouche?

Not a chance.

The laRouche group has proven that it has no understanding whatsoever of basic mathematics, and routinely show posters of "Hitler Obama". Even being associated with that group disqualifies anyone involved.

Icebear, you think it would be a better world if crazed conspiracy theorists and nutjobs took over the democrat party? Seriously?

Oh, wait. I see his logic. He wants to get the Tea Party to start voting for the Democrats. Many of them vote for whoever best feeds their jingoism and paranoia, and if these people took over, that'd be the Democrat party, all right!

WHAT??!?!!?!

I think it's the standard "some-of-our-people-aren't-racists-but-you-are-for-pointing-it-out" thing that they've been attempting. You know... not a racist party, but #1 with racists. Except everyone else is the real racists for pointing it out.

That stuff seems almost rational compared to some of Lyndon's classic hits.

-The Jewish Bankers control the British royal family (and have done so for decades)
-The Queen of England controls the international drug trade and is responsible for a measurable percentage of the cocaine smuggled into the U.S.
-Henry Kissinger was in on it because he is a British agent (or more precisely a British/Jewish agent).

Someone get this man to the most duck-filled pond in the state!

I don't know which I'm having more trouble processing, the notion of supporting Lyndon Larouche or the idea that racists took over the Democratic Party before the civil rights movement.

AFTER the civil rights movement. Racism was legally dead and buried in America in 1965 and that was too good for democrats, who had to reinvent it.

It's pretty neat how after the civil rights act everyone just realized that all those people they'd been hating for years were just really nice folks and racism ended. There certainly weren't people fighting equality tooth and nail ever since.

"For every [illegal immigrant] who’s a valedictorian, there’s another 100 out there who weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert." - Republican Steve King

"I made a prediction a long time ago, and it’s come to pass. I said, ‘What we’re gonna do is turn Detroit into an Indian reservation, where we herd all the Indians into the city, build a fence around it, and then throw in the blankets and the corn.’" - Republican L. Brooks Patterson

"My father had a ranch; we used to have 50-60 wetbacks to pick tomatoes" - Republican Don Young

"If [voter ID law] hurts the whites, so be it, if it hurts a bunch of lazy blacks who wants the government to give them everything, so be it." - Republican Don Yelton

“The minimum wage makes no sense whatsoever to me. I mean honestly, it’s just the teenage - the black teenage unemployment teenage act." - Republican Art Laffer

"From those incredible blood lines of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington and John Smith. And all these great Americans, Martin Luther King. These great Americans who built this country. You came from them. And the unique thing about being from that part of the world, when you learn about breeding, you learn that you cannot breed Secretariat to a donkey and expect to win the Kentucky Derby. You guys have incredible DNA and don’t forget it." - Tea Party Community co-founder Ken Crow

You were saying about those racist Democrats?
