I reported earlier that Minnow Films of the UK was filming a documentary on Bigfoot hunters with Dyer on September 6, 2012 when Dyer shot cellphone video lasting 1.2 seconds of a Bigfoot eating meat out of a bait trap in a tree. Dyer was in his tent. In the next tent was a BBC film crew with two cameramen with shoulder-mounted cameras. At the same time, the film crew captured a 3 minute video of the same Bigfoot eating from the bait trap. After Dyer recognized there was a Bigfoot at the bait trap, he ran out of the tent, clad only in his underwear, carrying a rifle.

At that time, Dyer raised up his rifle and shot the Bigfoot in the back of the head. At that point, all Hell broke loose as the crew wrestled the rifle away from Dyer."

How much money is there in this ****** I mean seriously, these nitwits spend an awful lot of time and energy coming up with another way to be in the news.
 
Never a dull moment with these people, for one thing if anyone in this world shot and killed a bigfoot, sasquatch, snow monster, yeti, etc, they are going to drag it in and reap the rewards of discovery for themselves, no one is going to wait on it, a body is a body you can't call it a hoax or worry about it being identified with DNA, it is what it is.

I long for the good ole days when Bigfoot was a cool campfire story and we had fun with it.

You can only marvel at how thick Dr. Robert 'Gaga' Lindsay PhD,BS,JD,MBA,RN must truly be to express a thought like that. Kinda like Roger Patterson right? "It was the damndest thing, we was over there pullin off this Bigfoot hoax thingy and poof, there goes a real one, it was the damndest thing." No matter the struggles, no matter the odds, they really saw the monster. Thanks for helping, Rick.

I am saddened to think that there are people who read this and are impressed in any way - it is not even internally consistent.
 
Footers take anything they can that is even remotely positive, I am sure this is low key, but anything to discuss is usually welcome with the cult, it's an easy give that it's a hoax, they know it and will pick it apart and then give pat's on the back to each other cause they are so good at revealing hoaxes. :eek:

Same for us cause we posting here like this stuff, but with one exception, for the most part we have enough brains and common sense to realize it's all BS and the greed for $ has taken away one hell of what used to be good tale, I am also willing to bet we don't spend hard earned cash on wild ideas on how to catch a BF.
 
Since this whole Georgia bigfoot thing happened local to me, I've been following Rick Dyer's YouTube channel for some time.

For a while after the original hoax, he would pop up, post a video, then delete it after a few days or weeks. But earlier this year he changed and started posting regular videos on that channel bragging about what his bigfoot tracking group would do next.

It's quite an odd pile of stuff. Frankly I don't follow the bigfoot world that closely so some of the things he talks about made no sense to me.
 
Interesting. Either he, or someone using his name, is responding to the comments. Unfortunately, the owner of the blog has posted Dyer's personal information, to include phone number. Not a smart move. He should have at least censored enough to retain his privacy yet shown enough to let him know he had it all.
 
I thought that was the blog writer's address, I must have misinterpreted that.
 
Actually, I think we both did. I think that's the location of the feds he's planning to call.
I missed the context.
 
I'm not a lawyer, so what follows is wishful thinking, not a legal assessment of the situation. I would love to see Dyer suffer some sort of punitive measures for this hoax. It seems to me that a crime must have been committed. He charges for memberships that are supposed to include an early ( pre-public) reveal of a Bigfoot corpse. Well we know, and he knows, that he does not and never did have such a thing, so how is that not fraud? I may not have a great deal of love or respect for gullible Footers that allow folks like him to operate, but I imagine they have a hard enough time paying the bills in their trailer park as it is, they don't need to be bilked by Dyer on top of it.
