Seems to have real non-woo info on how to move massive objects using simple physics. A great way to blow pyramid etc. woo (aliens or magic were needed, etc.) out of the water. Trouble is look at the links the site has - mega woo. I can't figure out why they're on his site, he certainly doesn't believe aliens, magic etc. were needed for the creation of the pyramids, but free energy and all sorts of nonsense are on those linked sites. This makes me not want to post this link when debating with woos elsewhere. Any ideas on why his site is like that?
I've got an idea, someone should copy the info from the site (done in new wording though, so it's not ripping him off) do new graphics and add it to the skeptic wiki.

i think thats really cool, i have seen his stuff on some show (history or discovery or something). i think a lot of people who are interested in his (non woo) techniques are still interested in woo stuff. i think they are convinced enough of something supernatural about the pyramids that they consider even this technology to be so amazing that they were some sort of supernatural beings to know it 4000 years before this fellow did it. or something

one thing, on a side note, that drives me crazy about the alien idea is why, if this was built with some alien technology, is it just made of stone? i mean if we found a titanium (or other metal or technology that far exceeded manufacturing of that time) megalith that was thousands of years old, i would be persuaded to consider outside influence. but nope. just a huge pile of rocks.

A metal megalith?

Lie back on ze couch, vhile I smack you mit zis dictionary!

Take your point though. The trouble is that believers in ancient technology have a standard excuse- the evidence was DESTROYED by archaeologists.

This tells me they know even less about archaeologists than they do about everything else.

The site didn't work very well for me, with some broken images, and formatting problems in Firefox, but I did notice that there's a link with which to ask him a question. Maybe if you ask him, he'll tell you.

One possibility might be reciprocal links if he's trying to attract hits from woo sites.

That's one of my pet peeves about these "aliens did it!" folks. They seem to think that just because people were primative, they must also have been stupid. If Einstein had lived 5000 years ago, he'd have been building pyramids, and erecting monoliths. Does anyone doubt that someone as smart as that could have figured out something similar to what is shown here? Hell, this guy did it just as a hobby, based on his experience as a construction guy. If really smart people dedicated their lives to doing this stuff, there's no doubt in my mind they'd come up with the same types of things.

The "show page in IE tab" plugin worked wonders for me. His "broken" pictures are all active GIF's, or something similar. I suggest trying this, or using IE, because it's pretty interesting to see.

Thaks. I'll try that later. I actually have the plugin but try to forget it's there, as I try to forget the IE even exists.
