Since there is so much interest in the final hours between now and
November 4th, I thought it's a good Idea to collect all the Headlines
till election day as some kind of quick overview for all people in here
that can't keep track of all the new events.

I also use CNN's countdown to add a time stamp to the newly added
articles and events. Feel free to do so as well...

Obama aide: Timing of news about his [illegal immigrant] aunt 'suspicious'

(CNN) — Barack Obama’s chief strategist said Saturday that he thought the last-minute appearance of stories like this weekend’s news that the Illinois senator’s aunt may be living in the country illegally would make people “suspicious.” The Associated Press has reported that Zeituni Onyango, a native of Kenya, has been living in Boston despite losing an appeal for asylum four years ago. Obama’s campaign... More

WTF? : Oprah's electric Voting trouble:

"When I voted yesterday electronically, the first vote that you vote for on the ballot is the presidential candidate. It was my first time doing electronic, so I didn't mark the X strong enough, or I held down too long. Because then when I went back to check it, it had not recorded my presidential vote," she said. McCain did a good job on SNL. I doubt he'll change many votes, but I think the skits were good and reached the right balance of satire and seriousness.

I thought the same and he was quite sympathetic - but the QVC skit

Even reliably red Montana in play as Election Day looms

(CNN) – Call it the battle for Big Sky country. George W. Bush won Montana by 20 points in his re-election victory four years ago. But it seems the times have changed in the state.
CNN's new Electoral College map, updated Sunday morning, moves Montana from "lean John McCain" to "toss up." ... more

Obama doesn't forget a thing if it comes down to attracting voters. He even does some ads speaking Spanish!

His Spanish sounds presentable. For somebody with almost zero language knowledge, that's remarkable. It's normally a very time consuming, hard job to deliver such a performance. Hardly any cuts in the ad.

Obama speaks Indonesian doesn't he? He could fear killing his campaign stone dead if he did an advert in that language.

I didn't know his aunt from Kenya spoke Spanish.

Whatever, she won't be illegal for much longer. Family members of the President of the US are not deported.
