As far as I'm concerned, Peter B. Lloyd's "synchronicity" was about as amazing and meaningful as if I were to visit an address on the Ben Franklin Parkway in Philly, drive to New Jersey across the Ben Franklin bridge, and pay for dinner with a bill with a picture of Ben Franklin on it. :D

I'm sure this Leonardo character is at least as popular as Ben is around these parts!

As for other coincidences: a couple of days before my mom died, I had a dream that was like a premonition and was vaguely similar to what actually happened. And I had no reason to expect it at the time, because she was taken ill rather suddenly. I chalk it up to coincidence, but it was spooky nonetheless.

Then there was the time in the early 80's when I had a dream that someone tried to assasinate Prince Charles while he was visiting Pittsburgh. It seemed so realistic I turned on the radio when I woke up to see if it was true. Needless to say, the dream never happened. And it never will, because Princess Diana was present as well.

And in the late 80's, I had a dream that George Bush Sr. was in a meeting with the Prime Minister of Japan and was taken ill. Which isn't terribly amazing, since I was sleeping with the radio on and heard the whole thing on the news.

And a couple of years ago, a week or two before I was to travel to London to visit my then boyfriend, I woke up one day feeling nervous for no apparent reason. Sure enough, within the next few weeks....... nothing happened.

Ha ha, this happens to me all the time. My hubby gets up much earlier than me, and if he has the radio on I often 'dream' news stories and wake up without realising they're actually true.

In fact, only the other day I was about to tell someone about the weird dream I'd had that Steve Irwin had died.

Talk about weird. I had a dream that you had a dream that Suew0 had a dream that Steve Irwin and George Bush wrestled in oil at a Japanese restaurant.

Spooky.

"Had a dream" or "Filmed a low budget porn?"

I wish it was low budget. The former president don't work cheap ya know. And I don't even want to go into what it costs to get a dead guy to wrestle.

The oil, however, was donated.

Whoa. I *knew* someone was going to say that!

I did some Googling, but couldn't find a Leonardo da Vinci "laan" in Brussels. I did find a street with that name, but I couldn't find an hotel there.
Any Belgians want to comment on this?

It was a dream, or the report of one, that led me to critical thinking and scepticism.

I was a teenager in 1979, in Australia, and Skylab was going to land on us.

A newspaper reported that Skylab had claimed its first victim, days before it landed. Apparently a man had a heart attack in his sleep after dreaming that Skylab landed on him.

I wondered, "How do they know?"

:D

(I remember hoping it would land in the park across the road)

So I guess there is no point in undertaking an analysis to better determine how likely or unlikely the dream was -- just "chalk it up to coincidence." Sue, you'll fit in perfectly here!

Remember to "undertake an analysis to better determine how likely or unlikely" that was

That is correct. However, there is a da Vincilaan in the town of Zaventem, which is nearby Brussels. Zaventem is the location of "Brussels Airport"; foreign travellers, arriving there, tend to think they are in Brussels, but they are mistaken.

I did find a street with that name, but I couldn't find an hotel there.

The "Crowne Plaza Hotel Brussels Airport" is in the Da Vincilaan 4, Zaventem (Diegem).

Any Belgians want to comment on this?

Brussels doesn't need a Da Vincilaan; they have a Magdalena kerk (church), a Magdalenastraat (street), a Magdalenasteenweg (road),...

Yes, I did find Zaventem.
I'm just not sure (or wasn't) if it's Brussels. And I didn't want to make it to easy for him...
