I seem to notice even with all the infighting between all the "grunt" conspiracy nuts, the "leaders" all tend to cross advertise. We see all the "Vatican is the capstone" and "Zionist are the capstone" nuts attack Alex Jones for not putting that in Endgame, yet Jones advertises Texe Marrs who sells the "whore of babylon"/"protocols of zion". On 911weknow.com when you visit there store you will see David Icke garbage, yet most of the Troofers call him "disinfo". How do the "grunts" not see that they're getting scammed for there buck?

im sure the actual process is incredibly complex, but the end result is simple, a given source is 100% accurate and inerrant when they agree with the truthers pet theory, and nothing more than disinfo other times

same goes for any mainstream media source

It just seems weird that they can't see that all there wacky beliefs are supporting a money making industry.

It also seems weird that people will give and give, to the point of doing themselves real financial harm, to a slickster TV preacher. I suspect that the phenomena are related.

I can only guess that the emotional gratification derived from having a visible authority figure tell you what you want to hear, and feeling like you're part of a select group- of those "in the know" or "saved", seems like adequate value for the money.

There's surely multiple dissertation topics for some enterprising student of psychology or communications in the CT industry's followers.

Yes, I'm sure you got the same feelings when you donated to JREF.

I created a thread on this topic (the OP that is) a little while ago, you may find some interesting stuff there.

Go to my name in the members list, and look at all threads started by me, and you should find it Nick.

If you wish to discuss this, start a new thread, rather than derailing this one.

Not really much point, it's over a year old and we all know that 9-11 mania peaked in 2006 and has been sliding rapidly downhill since then.

Well, the blogosphere has done a great job in debunking old medias foul-ups, from sloppiness to blatant lies.
