This could possibly belong in the conspiracy section since so much of science denier reasoning comes down to a great conspiracy by all science and science institutions. However I post it here in case anyone wants a diversion into the unsettling side of logic and cares to try on the Trump crowd, just for fun.

As always, this topic is published by the same British science denier, James Delingpole who writes stuff for the following place. Caution, you may need your foil helmet on if you choose to join in.

Trump peddles in all kinds of conspiracy theories: climate denial, birtherism, antivax, who killed jfk, who killed Vince foster, Mexico sending rapists. He loves the poorly educated.

Usual lies from James Delingpole, starting with not quoting the title of the Nature article he cites: Absence of 21st century warming on Antarctic Peninsula consistent with natural variability ! Or the abstract which starts and finishes with
Since the 1950s, research stations on the Antarctic Peninsula have recorded some of the largest increases in near-surface air temperature in the Southern Hemisphere1.
...
Our findings cover only 1% of the Antarctic continent and emphasize that decadal temperature changes in this region are not primarily associated with the drivers of global temperature change but, rather, reflect the extreme natural internal variability of the regional atmospheric circulation
The West Antarctic had the largest warming trend in the Southern Hemisphere and then natural variability turned this regional warming into regional cooling.

I keep thinking that Breitbart is trying to emulate The Onion. The difference is, they seem tot ake their claims seriously. I wonder how a publication like that can continue to be profitable in the face of such overwhelmingly obvious fakery?
