From simpleminded postings by some, what I take away is that in heaven you have Ned Flanders for company. In hell, Mr. Burns. I leave it to the reader to determine whether the names of the places are reversed.
 
Since we are (sort of) discussing The Simpsons--there was a Bible episode and at the end, when the Apocolypse comes, Lisa is about to ascend into heaven when Homer drags her back. But why wouldn't Marge and Maggie ascend as well? Marge is a very good Christian and Maggie, while she has shot a few people, she hasn't actually killed anyone yet.

As for the characterization of hell. I like the 7 circles idea. Different levels for different sins.
 
A universe where what the Bible holds is the truth.

Where if you don´t obey a tyrannical genocidal God you are horribly punished.

Where the sons are guilty of the sins commited by their fathers.

Where the laws of God tell you what to eat and how, when and with whom to have sex.

Where the Earth is only 5000 years old (heck, I´m a geologist, that would truly suck).

Fundie´s world would be a Hell...

Weren't they 7 circles for the Purgatory and 9 for Hell (at least in Dante's)?
 
Hmm. Answering morally and ethically, I got the 8th circle, one from the bottom. That's atheism at work. :)

Yes! Level 6 - Heretics, the only "sin" there I don't consider as bad :D (and yes, there are 9 levels)

Hell would be spending eternity with him.

Yes!! I got to the 6th level (good right?). There was one statement that said something like "you read the scriptures", which I answered as true (it didn't ask if I believe them or not). Looks like there are lots of heretics with me!!

I ended up with Limbo as well, although that may have to do with the fact that I've led a boring life, more than anything else.
 
I got Extreme for levels 5 and 6
I got Very High for levels 2, 4, 8, and 9
High for 3 and 7
and very low for purgatory and level 1

I guess I'm going to be traveling around hell
