The singer of the punk band Bad Religion. Now before you roll your eyes, hear me out.

The guy has a Ph.D. in Zoology from Cornell and did his thesis on conflict between science and religion.

He's got a book coming out soon. Maybe we can snag him for a lecture at TAM5? How cool would that be?

PS: Tell him it's a mission from Gawd!

Good idea, Delphi. I absolutely loved Bad Religion as a teenager. The only punk band I needed a dictionary and a thesaurus handy to translate the lyrics.

That's actually an Amazing idea for the Amazing Meeting!

Awesome, I'd be there in a heartbeat! Not that I wouldn't be already...well you know what I mean!

Absolutely! I think it'd really be great to get some musicians (from outside the forum) there as guests.

You know what though, even if he weren't one of the main speakers, he could likely still present a paper on his thesis. I'm sure the JREF would snap it up!

How cool would it be to have him at the forum party?

I love Bad Religion, one of the better bands out there - not just punk.

If you already handed in your survey, tell Jeff Wagg about this. I think he would be an awesome guest.

I still have to mail mine in.

Everyone should also ask for Matt Parker and Trey Stone.

I tossed Jeff Wagg a PM. I'll let you know what he thinks.

Oop. Not trying to be a jerk. I genuinely got confused. It's Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Not the other way around.

I'm not being a nitpicky jerk. I just couldn't put 2 and 2 together. :o

Er, that's what I meant.

I associate the two, and always get their names switched around.

Nonetheless, they would be good guests. ANd they're friends with Penn, aren't they?

Just don't ask me to introduce them.

Er...well...now I feel sheepish for not being a better reader. I just saw the first and last names and put it together immediately.

Didn't Richard Wiseman mention something completely relevant to this at TAM4?

Wait! I think it was Chip Denman at the workshop, now that I think about it.
