Sadly, Terry had a family emergency and could not attend TAM and set up the webcam. Screw the webcam, everyone at TAM is sad that he couldn't come.

However, I've made an attempt at a webcam, and you can view it here:

I have doubts it will keep working, but I'll try to keep it live as much as possible.

Where are the boobs? Someone tell Rebecca to slam down one more drink and start flashing.

Oh and anyone who is there, I will reimburse you the cost of a beer of you would please spill it on JLAM. Just for fun.

First person to grab Adam Savage's butt and continue my tradition from TAM4 gets free naked pictures of Rebecca spilling a beer on JLAM captured from the Wagg cam.

Jeff, any attempt at all is great! I don't even have it in me to complain about not having one, since what Terry's dealing with is a whole lot worse than us not having a webcam.

I just want to make one little point... the time stamp is 3 hours off. While Vegas is three hours from me, that's literal hours, not time zone hours...
 
Most likely that is due to him uploading to his home network, on the east coast, which is 3 hours off.

Well, see, that's why I consistently maintain that I'm ignorant about many things...

ETA: And I've been spoiled by computers making this sort of adjustment for me...

The cam is working but it looks like it's currently aimed about at desk height so all it's showing are shots of everyone's crotch. Not really the view of TAM I want to see. :jaw-dropp

I'm booked, I have my Chocolate, my boots and my fancy frock (no corset though!), and only a few must do's before I can say I'm out the door...

I bought the trip protection insurance just in case, so if it's a no go I get my money back.
 
I remember I sent my very first email from a computer setup at a convention. I marvelled then at how cool it was to be able to communicate virtually instantly, for free. And it wasn't all that long ago!

This is the next step. Awesome!!!

Tam 6 is in June?

Someone, female, held up a cardboard sign saying that TAM6 would be in June, 2008. Is that correct? Why? Isn't that the middle of tourist and convention season, when everything is more crowded and expensive?

Give it a chance! June is better for teachers who have been doing painful contortions the past several years to feed their TAM addictions.
