A friend of mine was wondering whether or not there was any video of the presentation on Sylvia Browne at TAM8. I didn't see it, as I was probably asleep in my room then.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Even to a blog post on the presentation?

Oh, you're right. My Sunday morning was spent at the bar, watching the World Cup. :)

I was at the bar too for the World Cup final, but when I left a bit earlier the talk was on the Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexico. Can't really see how even Sylvia Brown could have gotten mixed up with that...

Yes, one of the last paper presentations Sunday morning was on Sylvia.

Yes, you are right:

11:35-12:00 A Case Study of Researching a Psychic: Examining Sylvia Browne’s History
Ryan Shaffer, Ph.D. candidate in the Department of History at Stony Brook University

(Unfortunately scheduled right during the World Cup final!)

I didn't watch the presentation, but would guess this article would be helpful as it's co-written by the presenter and on the same topic:

It was the last presentation of the day. This article covers much of the material that was given in the presentation. There was also some discussion of how the research was accomplished, and a discussion of a specific case that aired on the Montel show in which, on a followup episode, Browne's misses were ignored and the whole thing spun to make her look more accurate than she really was.
