Or for future TAMs.
Might be interesting to book Dr. Dean Edell
He's had a media platform that he's used to debunk bad science and pseudo medicine for some time. I remember hearing him on the radio 15 years ago.
Benguin's post about slimming creams over in SMM&T made me think of him, because he used to tell this story (probably still does):
A woman calls his radio show and says she just bought some kind of cream that's supposed to make her breasts larger if she rubs it on them. Her question for the Dr. was, "Should I wear gloves when I apply it? I don't want mu hand to get bigger."
Dr. Edell points out this woman was almost there. She had thought about what was going on, but just couldn't quite bring herself to take the next logical step.
Anyway, just thought he might be someone worth thinking about, for those that plan these things.
