Received this email at StopSylvia yesterday, with the subject "Sylvia Browne's Facebook Page is Back up (05/28/13)":

Hi Robert,

I'm a big fan of your website. Thank you for your tireless effort putting together such an excellent, comprehensive resource documenting the dubious but seemingly Slick as Teflon! Tough as Kevlar!™ Sylvia Browne.

Apologies if the information is redundant but as the title of this message reads, Sylvia Browne's Facebook page is back up and running. Comments and "negative" messages are (supposedly) disabled, but looking at her last post (her written statement quoting Sherry Cole), there are a few comments within the last 5 hours (at the time of this message).

Once again, you may already know about this, but I've been following the fallout of this case because I absolutely loathe Browne and I appreciate the fact that your site exists to expose her and as a foil for her lies.

I really don't know what to make of the whole "Her FB page was taken down/put back up" thing.

Evidently, she was getting lots of negative comments, mostly relating to her having told Amanda Berry's mother on the Montel Williams show that Amanda was dead.

Then her page "went down" (meaning what, I'm not sure). But we cannot be certainf what caused this (Browne ordered it to be taken down? Excess traffic brought it down?, etc).

Then her page "came back up" (again, why?)

It's fun to conjecture, but we cannot know for certain.

I read the past 100 replies to her most recent post there, and it's full of people talking to the "haters" and naming them, but there are no posts by them.

It looks a lot like they're deleting negative comments.
 
The hatters, on the other hand...bastards the lot of them!
 
It is highly unlikely her facebook crashed under traffic load since it is on facebook's servers.

I would assume either she (or her staff) took it down on purpose or facebook did responding to complaints. The former seems most likely.
 
I also couldn't help but chuckle at all the "GET OFF HER FACEBOOK SITE IF YOURE JUST GOING TO HATE" and "Dont judge her shes only human" replies to all the 'hateful' messages that no longer exist.
 
Actually if you click 'View previous comments' 7 or 8 times on her last post, the negative comments are no longer edited.

Judging by the commenters, the target audience for this woo is women who are 40+.

I've always believed in sylvia and today I had a phone reading scheduled it was a 3 hour frame. I missed it by a minute and was told to call back. They then told me I had to reschedule for weeks away. Needless to say I was disappointed.

There is a gap in the comments from 10 to 29 May. So the OP was right, her page was down.

Also no comments by Sylvia since it came back up. I wonder if they know it came back up?

I'm sure it's fine by these commenters to judge SB- as long as you deem her to be competent and trustworthy.
