Spooked! Is At It Again

Wow. Just wow.

ETA: I will give him props for trying to adhere to the scientific method, as opposed to the usual wild speculation.

Is there really someone that dumb?

I saw something like this before. His scale model would have 100 foot ceilings!

This model is missing some floors? Is he nuts? Are his floor also scale 50 to 100 foot ceilings?

If he would also include his scale plane, fuel and paper, drapes, carpet, elevators, stairs,

I want to see his scale 4 inch floors of concrete! What would that be 4/100th of an inch floors. That makes each open air space about 1-1.2 inches. The 3 inch or 5 inch steel thickness would be 5/100 of an inch or less. Some one needs to be sure his steel is less than 1/20 inch thick.

Fuel, how much fuel do we give this guy? Is it 100 gallons or is it less?

I am pretty sure after working 2 minutes on this big/small problem; there are big problems trying to use scale models as any idea what a 1300 foot building would do!

My first cut is the guy is nuts; I have decide due to funding (baby sitting/ cleaning house/ ) to stop work until the guy, who is nuts, lights up his scale model and burns down his apartment building!

What is that smell?

Some folks have simply lost their mind.

However, I have to admit that is the single silliest thing I have seen in some time.

I love this image, it just says it all:

"I AM AN IDIOT, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND PHYSICS OR ANYTHING!"

We'll never have to worry about buildings collapsing ever again, because they'll just sort of stay up like a bunch of chicken wire. Yes, that's exactly what it's like. Don't worry about engineers or fire codes, because we can just throw new buildings up.

Not only is his "scale model" not in any way an accurate representation of the composition of the towers, he has no way of representing the forces involved in his "model". I like the part where he kind of guesstimates the effect of the massive fires.

Totally accurate. 9/11 was an inside job for sure, I'm convinced.

Not.

ETA: His model has only 22 floors... ... ...

...?

Frequent SLC commenter Democrat has done his own experiments as well. This was one I linked to over the summer but didn't laugh at back then for fear that it might be an intentional parody. Apparently it's not.

I wish I understood his fascination with chicken wire.

Wow. That was mindstaggeringly stupid. I think it sucked a few I.Q. points out of my head while I was uh...hmmm..uh.. you know that thing you do with words....on the screen...ya know...when you look at words...

interesting, there might actualy be some useful info in there

he says it was easier for him to "cause a failure" on the side opposite the impact, but havent CTers been harping that the top of the south tower fell the "wrong way?"

maybe it wasnt wrong after all, lol

We don't need no steenkeeng NIST!!!

Not with chicken wire and construction paper anyway.

What I'd like to know is why we haven't updated the building codes to require the use of chickenwire and construction paper, as these materials are obviously far superior to the trash they made the WTC out of.
