Oh, crap, no. Mrs. BPSCG decided some months ago that we needed to have all the premium channels Comcast offers - HBO, CineMax, Showtime, TMC - in their standard lineup, and we're already paying for that. I'm damned if I'm gonna pay all that money (actually she writes the checks) and then go to goddam Blockbuster, too. If I can't find a single thing on any of those channels plus the other 300+ channels we pay for, maybe I just don't really want to watch TV, hm?

Plus now that I'm not building a patio or a fence in the backyard any more or doing some other bust-your-hump project around the house, I have time to do a few other things I haven't done in 'way too long, like restore that 19th-century steamer trunk in the garage.

Maybe I'll even get my kayak on the river again this summer. A man can dream, can't he?

Actually, I never go to Blockbuster either (not that I have cable). But I do regularly get movies from the public library, usually several each week, since it's free. The selection on the shelves is really bad, but you can put hold on movies online, and their total catalogue is actually pretty big.
