Something very strange is happening to TAPS. All past press releases, interviews and articles haves stressed their "Non-Profit" status. Suddenly all references to the NP status has vanished on their website and being removed from search engines. The group and their cult following are now busy retrofitting and denying it was ever an NP.

Seems like a few enterprising skeptics have rattled their cage....:D

Because this organization has trumpeted it's Non Profit status for years. Anytime an accusation of profiteering off the gullible arose, they would trot out the NP disclaimer. And now mentions of the Non Profit are suddenley vanishing. People are also stating it was never a NP.

I have noticed that so far this season and a lot of last seasons investigations dealt with tourist destinations and businesses more than individuals homes and historic landmarks. That may have something to do with it.
 
They are certainly relying on commercial gimmicks this season-text messaging and that sort of thing.
