Some educational/useful programs I made

I created a package of 12 small educational and/or useful programs called PoolwarePack. It's free, open source and there's nothing to install. Although, you will have to have Microsofts .NET Framework 2.0 installed. The latest version of PoolwarePack is 0.45. You can check it out here.

If you find any mistakes in the programs, I would appreciate you telling me about it. The xphysDrop one is going to be buggy, which is stated.

For those of you who don't know what the .NET Framework is, it's basically Microsoft's version of Java. The programs were written in Microsoft's Visual Basic .NET and requires the framework to run. It can be found here:

Can you explain what they are? I'm on an infuriatingly slow line here, so won't download them.

Sell me your product, boy. :D

It has a calculator with quite a bit of features and can also parse very well. You can type in e=m*c^2 and it will give you the physical constant of c automatically and allow you to give "m" a value in a box it assigns to it. It also, like most of the programs I make, doesn't require you to press enter. It just displays the current answer as you type. If what you type doesn't make sense, it just displays that it's waiting for a valid expression.

A unit converter with 60 categories so far and a periodic table with some information and the ability to watch what elements melt/boil or float/sink as you adjust the temperature or fluid density of their environment.

A few calculators that make it easier to understand a specific equation. There is one for the relationship between mass and energy, time dilation, blood alcohol content and watts-volts-amps-ohms conversion.

A program that brings up information on your computer, such as how long it has been running, the hertz of the cpu, outlook express accounts, etc..

A program that acts as an alarm clock and a countdown timer.

And a program that allows you to set up a language training exercise using wave files and phrases that match what is said. It is a copy of a program used to learn Lojban, an artificial language.

Just so you know, the data category in the unit converter needs to be fixed in version 0.45.

*0.46
UnitConverter: In the Data category 1024 increment names were changed to new IEEE standard
UnitConverter: Megabyte and Gigabyte had KB and MB written after them
UnitConverter: USB and FireWire were changed to the correct metric units instead of 1024
UnitConverter: Added 12 more units to Data category (28 to 40)
UnitConverter: Increased the length of the input selection box for larger input names
UnitConverter: Various value fixes and modifications to the Data category

Hm, the periodic table might be useful in a chemistry class. I'll download it when I get a chance and have a play with it.
