It seems that all the workers there, probably from the evil....evil NSA, have been brainwashed and microchipped for thought activity monitoring!

Hmmmmm.... I live not all that far from Canberra. Do you think you could ask them to put the "capitol" some other place? I'd prefer not to have it anywhere near where I live.

There are a couple of biggish islands just off the east coast, maybe they could put them over there, there's not much other than sheep there now.

I liked the bit about how Pine Gap is completely underground. I guess all the dirt must have blown off or something, lots of buildings sticking up, not to mention all those big white domes. :rolleyes:

It's a secret, known only to a certain few. Secret squirrel types like me with really high security clearances are allowed to know, but the ordinary unwashed masses, such as yourself, will never find out.
 
Maybe the author is dyslexic, and meant N.T. instead. Of course his geography would be wrong as well, but so is everything else in the article, so one more error makes no difference.

Here in the States TN is the two letter abbreviation for the state of Tennessee but T.N. is something I haven't a clue about. Woomera is a "prohibited zone" right?

It was. After the Yanks moved out the town sort of died because the rocket range was what was keeping the town alive.

However there is still the restricted area, which is full of cattle stations, but regular travellers get something like 50m from the edge of the Stuart Highway to sit in.

Surely he means Nurrungar. But that's been decommissioned hasn't it?

Well, I for one welcome it. Along with Squishy Dave, rjh01, Arthwollipot and Noblecaboose, I as a forumite Canberran feel quite comfortable with being at the centre of the NWO dominion. Of course, my brainchip is telling me to say this.
