Shanksville: Solved!

Killtown is too much for words:

2) There is that '94 aerial that showed a similar "wing shaped" drainage ditch just a few yards away, so no reason a new ditch couldn't form 7 years later.

It is hilarious to hear the claim of "there should be burned grass on the north side of the crater" from one set of twoofers and an explanation from other twoofers that the crater was caused by a high explosive incendiary device that would have cooked anything within it's blast radius...
Precious! Absolutely precious!
:dl:

maybe Killtown and TC can get together and come up with a "small white plane releases Thermobaric bombs" scenario.

PS: I didn't go to the link, so if the above is what ACTUALLY has occurred between to them, I laugh, and then apologize.

TAM:)

Thermobaric bombs, folks.

It's times like this you almost want to slap yourself in the forehead for not seeing all the clues sooner!! It was all. right. there!!!

Yeah, its obvious now.
That first explosion could not have possibly been the sound of a very large, nearly fully-fueled airliner hitting the ground at high speed, and it was followed by a larger explosion, which could not in any way been the fuel from that airliner vaporizing and going "boom"

You omitted one other theory in that thread. A thermobaric air-to-air missile.

I'm surprised they haven't trotted out that weapons system we considered developing in the Cold War where a nuclear-ramjet-powered cruise missile moved at mach 6 at 200' over enemy territory and did immense damage with its bow shock (aka sonic boom.)

Ugh, leave it alone. Please. You're commiting the online equivalent of wandering into a secluded, empty cottage and playing the audio tapes you find next to a mysterious grimoire.

All of this was already beat to death, before Killtown was banned here. Two years ago. Nothing has changed. Killtown is the intellectual equivalent of a Superfund site.

Project Pluto. But the shock was nothing compared to the radioactive exhaust from the ramjet. If you want optimal destruction from shockwaves, you need to stay close to Mach 1.

The project was ultimately cancelled because, to test it, you'd have to write off everything it flew over for several decades.

ETA: The Wiki page disputes, but does not cite, the radioactive impact of the exhaust. My data comes from a co-worker who studied nuclear engineering at Purdue. It may be difficult to prove one way or the other.

Ah! Thanks! I'm not sure I ever knew the name of it.

Why exactly was killtown banned? He seems to think that he broke no rules.

well, i think that someone who would get this site into legal troubles for his antics, should be banned.

seeing that he was suspended because of his harassment and libelous claims of Val didn't stop him,
that he had to get SUSPENDED again for not heeding the moderator warnings about staying on topic, and to stop posting libelous information on Val

So much so that after his suspension, ten days later he had to bE SUSPENDEd again

why does he the think that he didn't break any rules, when his history of posting here shows that HE did exactly that?
