The fancy scooter is barred from traveling on San Francisco sidewalks, but such laws apparently do not apply to the deviant side of the Segway crowd.

When that whole big "What IS it?" mystery-thing was going on, it seemed a little interesting.
Then when I saw it, I thought, 'You know, that was a lot of hype for a thing that's going to be available in the Sharper Image catalogue in about two years or so'.

You know, the damn thing doesn't really go that fast--how could he 'flee the scene', when the toddler could have ran him down and caught him?
