I know there are quite a few fellow scots in here, so just wondered what way you lot are thinking of voting one May 1st?

I just got about 1/2 a rainforest of political party bumff through the letter box, so wondered.

Myself, living in the constituency of 'Lord' Mike Watson, and seeing him voting for the effective closure of the local hospital and ignoring what his constituents want, Labour, not my first, or even second vote, but I never voted for them in my life. And New labour, it is the tories in another name.

Conservative, ok, try not to laugh, makeing an issue out of holyrood. And a list wannabee with the first name Gawain, really.

Lib Dem, who I have voted for all my life, I am sorry, your manifesto, and local candidates do not inspire.

SNP, possibly, but why are they distancing themselves from the long time party stalwarts like Margo Macdonald? I want idependance but alas I cannot vote for you wanting to be all things to all people.

Pat Lally (former globetrotting lord Provost of Glasgow) is standing here in Glasgow Cathcart, on a save the victoria infirmary single issue, but his printed matter says he is also against the war in Iraq, which is a good thing, but he looks a creep.

Pro Life Alliance - Get a life

UK independance party - Scottish Independance please

British National Party - Can I have a Black shirt and goosestep as well?

Green Party, sorry, too much colour to be green for me in your letterbox drops, but I agree with them, so they may get my second vote.

Scottish Socialist Party, I seem to agree with everything they say, Tommy boy may have the orange Glasgow suntan parlour complexion, but I think I will vote for them.

So other Scots, what way you voting? and apologies to the other candidates I left out.

T those outwith Scotland, we have 2 votes, one for the constituency MP, and one for someone from a regional list from the main parties, kinda proprtional representation.
