It's a bit worrisome that the Scientology bunch are trying more and more to cast a good light on themselves.
 
Rumors of an upcoming multimedia stage extravaganza to be called "Opus Dei: Crusade on Ice" are entirely false. False, I tell you, so stop the presses and pull that story!
 
Oh, great...

Another one empties her pockets to L. Ron Hubbard's science fiction empire.

I think "South Park" blasted them open...I'm still waiting for the space aliens to return for the next battle.

At least Yeardley Smith doesn't seem to be a Scientologist yet. She's cute in a pixieish way. She's said in interviews that men ask her out on dates and to have sex with them...in Lisa Simpson's voice. Now that's creepy. :eek:

I wonder if they think Tom Cruise is helpful to the cause, or a liability.

I was at a festival in Boulder recently were they had a booth. I found it interesting that the word "Dianetics" was everywhere, but nowhere was the word "Scientology". They were advertising free stress tests and of course the term "e-meter" was not written anywhere.

I thought about participating, but I didn't think I could with a straight face.
