A printer that can print 3-D objects, how cool! Yes, I've known about stereolithography machines for years; but they cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. And also cost an arm and a leg to supply. Do you have any idea how much photoreactive polymer liquids cost?!

i would venture a guess and say the stereolithography machine would quickly become the cheaper machine to use.

And i base that on abselutely nothing.

But that's okay, because you can just make some new arms and legs. (You just walked right into that one.)

Do you suppose that eventually, everyone will have two of them, so that if one breaks down the other one can make a new one?

Of course, it will limit the usefulness if everything has to be made out of the same substance.
