This is sad:

HE may be a camp, podgy 52-year-old stargazer ... but TV astrologer Russell Grant now gets more internet hits than David Beckham.

The Sun reported yesterday how Goldenballs had been kicked in the Googles by net surfers and was dropping down the list of most searched-for celebrities.

And it turns out Grant, who now hosts a Sky One astrology show, was the most sought after male star on internet search engines in 2004.

Lets see the Sun "newspaper" (prop Rupert Murdoch) reports that the most searched for celebrity just happens to have a TV show on Sky TV (prop Rupert Murdoch).

I must be getting cyncical in my old age but I'm not entirely convinced.

Sad, but if it's any consolation I've never heard of Russell Grant or his TV show. (Till now).

Russel Grant is quite well-known as an 'astrologer' in the UK - fat and camp as a row of pink lace tents.

He is, or was, President of a society that supports the county of Middlesex, which was abolished over 25 years ago...
