Research Sitter?

Following on a little from my "are all mediums con artists" thread and purely out of curiousity, has anyone on here/or would anyone on here consider volentering(sp?) to become a research sitter in Gary Schwartz mediumship experiments.

Admittedly i'm a little tempted, just to see what he comes up with. Trouble is i live in the UK and these one to one experiments are carried out in Arizona. Might still qualify for an email or telephone reading though.

Any thoughts?

I just downloaded the questionnaire. I will send it in, but they do say that you will not know ahead of time if you will be chosen. If I am chosen, I will let everyone know how it goes.

It says you do not have to go to AZ if you do not want to. You can do the sitting by email or snail mail, so I would think anyone could do it if they chose. You won't get paid, but it might be interesting.

If a past Schwartz experiment is any indication, they will use a "proxy sitter" if you are not present. You would be the "absent sitter".

I couldn't do this experiment. I use my first name here and have talked extensively of my deceased brother on here, and it would not be surprising if Schwartz is familiar with this site.

Thanks for that link, Luke. I will research this a bit further and see if it is worthwhile to pursue. If the experiment is for real, set up properly and so on, then I do think skeptical people should participate. In fact I would think an honest researcher would prefer skeptical people. However if this guy is using this to further his own BS then that is another story. He may not even choose to use skeptical people.
