Recent New Species?

Have there been any new species that were “created” in recent times?

How would science determine that that species was indeed new, and not simply one they haven’t come across before?

I would love to say to a creationist, “Well, where did the [insert new species here] come from? Did the designer make it without anyone knowing 3 years ago?”

No, they would simply say that ID has no problem with microevolution. Even if those fruit flies, plants, etc. are different species, they are still fruit flies, etc.
