I used to own a black and white surprise set. I don't know what happened to it. It could be anywhere. Anyhow, I really want to get another set, but was wondering if there are different brands of it, and which are the better brands.

I'll bite. What's a "black and white surprise set"?

If SwissSkeptic is correct, and you're talking about something like the "Color Deception" (chips that undergo multiple color changes), the Kamillion Koins are very good quality. However, if the Color Deception set shown in his link are as good quality (and they should be, for the price) I think I like the color changes from stark black and white to the colors they use better than the pink/green starting point of my Kamillion Koins.
