The easiest prediction of all. The Trump initiated trade war with China will precipitate a world-wide recession.

2019 prediction. New Madrid fault will move causing over $121,000,000 of damage.

May's Brexit deal will be rejected by Parliament, an extension to A50 will be negotiated to allow another referendum, and the UK will vote to remain in the EU.

2019 prediction made on 1/1/2019: An airline crash associated with one of the country’s 13 largest airports will result in 131-311 deaths. Other threes and ones will be associated with the crash. I see blues and greens associated with this tragedy.

31+31+31=93.

Over 93% of the posters in this thread will dismiss my prophetic vision.

I will make more than $3131 from my in cannily accurate prediction.

I'm no good at these prediction things, but I just saw this article about Isaac Asimov's 1983 predictions for 2019:
https://bigthink.com/technology-innovation/isaac-asimov-future-predictions-from-1983
Some of those predictions came true, such as our ability to use what he called sight-sound communication to contact anyone on Earth. But others — a machine that can convert yeast, algae and water into foods like "mock-turkey," for instance — never manifested.

In 1983, the Toronto Star invited Asimov to predict the answer to a specific question: "What will the world look like in 2019?" It was a fitting time to pose the question, the Star's editors figured, because 1983 was 35 years after George Orwell penned 1984.

It might be of interest to some here.

I'll return to review these predictions next year with 2020 hindsight.
