Pilot plugs xtianity on flight

Fifth thread I've seen on the subject. All I can say is that every employer I have ever worked for has rules against proselytizing, especially to customers/clients. Somehow I doubt American Airlines is any different in that regard. I suspect the hammer is going to fall on this guy and rightfully so.

I also suspect that he did it so he WOULD get into trouble so that he can b!tch about how Christians are so persecuted in this country that they can't even talk about God without getting into trouble. I am sure that Church groups are lining up even now so he can talk to them about how he has been persecuted for his faith or some similar claptrap.

Can we ask what flavor of christian the pilot is? Maybe we can send a Jehova's Witness up to talk to him about JW during the flight, followed by a couple Mormon missionaries.

This type of thing should be banned if it is not already, unless of course the wings fall off, in that case what harm can it do?

Or even better yet, sentence him to fly with a planeload of Amway salesmen...

Either that pilot is a complete lunatic who has lost all sense of reality or that pilot is God. Now, a complete lunatic who had lost all sense of realilty would not be able to successfully land a modern, commercial passenger jet. We can conclude that the pilot must be God.;)

From RR:
What is the worse that can happen to us? Sometimes when I am out among a group of people I want to talk about Jesus so bad that I start getting anxiety attacks.....its brutal!
The worst that could happen? You could be the pilot on the airplane I'm on when you have your Jeebus induced anxiety attack.

This guy gives me the willies!

If he'd wanted to acknowledge the Christians on board it would have been fine. The fact that he implied that non-Christians are crazy and deserve to be converted during the flight time means his actions should be considered discrimination. Let the RR folks whine about it all they want, but that pilot should be dealt with appropriately.
