In the unofficial chat room at skepticsrock, I found out that the 4 spots that go with Phil Plait to the observatory on Sunday night are auctioned as a block.
I'm coming alone, and have some money I was going to put towards the bidding. I was wondering if I could find 3 other people to go in together? I'll take private "bids" to be part of my team, so PM me the amount that you're willing to put up.
On my team, all participants will be expected to do equal shares up to your maximum bid. However, since I don't know pretty much anyone here, I will be picking the top 3 amounts unless you have a particularly beautiful sob story that convinces me otherwise
