They don't have a Wednesday show the week of TAM, so Saturday or Sunday are likely options for most people, I'd assume. Since the only official event scheduled Sunday night looks like The "Challenge", I think that's the night that I'll be heading over to the RIO.

Dinner and cab splitting, anyone?

Do they change the show much? I saw them last year; while it was very good, I don't know I'd want to see a re-run of the same show again.

I usually watch the show once every 2 or 3 years. Enough of the acts are different, so it doesn't feel like the same show. And, the acts that are the same, you can learn more about, by watching things differently.

I might go this year, since I saw Mac King last year, instead.

I want to go, and sit further back - partly so that I can keep an eye out for a couple things...

Me +1 are probably interested in seeing P&T again this year, just gotta plan out our schedule more.

I saw them last year, but they were pretty great so I am tentatively in also.

Yes, they usually add a new trick about once a year. There's a new trick called "He's A Little Teapot" that went into the show on March 15.

There's also another trick that somehow involves dressing up a live cow on stage so it looks like an elephant, then vanishing it. They've been working on that for a while, so it may or may not be in the show any time soon.

They also change the lineup and rotate old tricks back into the show periodically.

Adman, you're hatred for the clm movement will be the death of your cherished friendship with me. I know it's harsh, but times call for action. Embrace the movement, we are clm.

Me too.

Do they have mini-van type cabs? splitting one would save alot of money - I understand cab fare from Southpoint to the strip is around $28 ONE WAY

Crazylegsmurphy hates the clm movement.

Yes. The valet told me last year that if we have 10 folks they can get a van or limo for $100 one way which would be $10 per person.

That still sounds awful, but I guess no worse (probably much better) than car rental and parking. It sucks they don't have free shuttle to the strip, but I guess it makes sense that they'd not want to encourage you spending your money at some other casino.

Count me in as 1/10 of the necessary quota.

There actually is a shuttle (not free, but cheaper than a cab) from the South Point to the Strip. Here's the schedule:

ETA: I'm likely in for sharing a cab or van as well if we decide to take one.
