The idea is to put serious essays up on the various parts of the PATRIOT Act (avoiding the emotional -type arguments often made) prior to the sunsetting of the Act so that people can take a look at what advocates on each side regarding different portions of the Act.
If this is done in an even half-way decent manner, the dialogue will be far more useful than the talking points that have been spouted by detractors and defenders since the thing got enacted.
And its being done by the Bar. So there, too.
