I've been between jobs for five months and the first time I turn on day-time TV I pick a winner. The Matthew Wright show will be discussing the principle of paranormal TV and whether there should be more seances and the like.

Thanks Filippo - I have been between jobs for three months (since I came to the UK) and I took pride in the fact that not once I switched the daytims TV on! (However, don't ask me how many hours I spent on the Internet).

I switched in on now! It is just starting.

Does anyone apart from me work in the UK ? (actually I don't work either as evidenced by my posting to this board from work but at least I have the decency to get paid for the work I don't do )

I have, sadly I am physically quite remote from London (at a location I am unwilling to reveal on the grounds that the Black Helicopters are starting to penetrate my tinfoil hat) and so would be unable to attend.

I would be prepared to drink locally while you're drinking in London if you think this would make me appear less aloof
