Federal agents have broken up a plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 102 black people in a Tennessee murder spree, the ATF said Monday.
In court records unsealed Monday, federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name. *snip*

That's one of my fears regarding the election: Obama being the
target for religiously and racially "Blindfolded". :(
 
I just heard on the news that a couple skinheads had a plan to assassinate Obama before it was discovered. They had also planned to kill African-Americans and decapitate them.

An official from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said police found the men in the Jackson, Tennessee area with a number of guns, including a sawed-off shotgun, in their car.

What's so significant about those numbers?
 
The first one is the number of children their mother has, with the second one being the number of different fathers.
 
14 stands for the 14 word slogan "We must secure the existence of our race and a future for our children."

8 is the 8th letter of the alphabet, H; 88 = HH, for "Heil Hitler".

The number 14 stands for the "14 Words statement." It was authored by white supremacist David Lane (now in prison for 190 years). He was the leader of The Order, a Northwest-based terrorist organization that was responsible for numerous bank robberies and the killing of talk show host Alan Berg in 1984 (the 1999 film Brotherhood of Murder is based on the story of this organization). Lane (in absentia) and his wife later founded hate-press-distributing 14 Words Press.

The number 88 is an abbreviation for Heil Hitler. 'H' is the eighth letter of the alphabet; repeated twice, it yields HH. There is also some similarity in shape between '88' and 'HH', exploited to good effect by skinhead artists.

This plot shows the true evil of White Nationalism..and almost all of its supporters.
They may talk just racial seperation, but they really seak violence and death against those they consider to be inferior.

I wonder if all the talk from the GOP implying "Obama pals around with terrorists" had any influence on these neo-Nazi goons? I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Yup, it is a good thing these idiots were bragging about their plans - the ones who don't advertise are the most dangerous. Sadly, I don't think they'll be the last ones to plan an attempt on Obama's life for racial, ideological reasons. You know, they gotta protect the U.S.A. from that Muslim Barack Hussein Obama who "pals around with terrorists"!

I wonder what those who post here spewing nonsense vitriol at Obama think of these developments? I'd be interested in seeing their responses - if they have the cajones to show up in this thread.

This time....

The Secret Service and other law enforcement officials have to be perfect every time, the nut jobs have to be lucky just once.

It makes me really sad and angry that we are still here talking about this crap again and again. Get over it, people of all races and religious affiliation are good and people of all races and religious affiliation are bad. People are people... period.

Palin's stump speeches did NOT help anything at all with this issue. The best her vial hate speech could do is help win an election (while taking race and religious relations back 3 decades) but it seems as if it didn't even help there either.

Mind you I am sure these wing nuts would have still held this position without her speeches but as I said, her BS sure didn't HELP anything in that regard.
