Seems that every time a 'Terror suspect' is on TV or in the paper, someone, somewhere, makes mention of them being Islamic.
Can someone who claims to be Christian be a terrorist as well? Isn't bombing an abortion clinic or taking a shot at a doctor because they are seen as violating the assailant's beliefs a terrorist as well?

I think its just the state of mind the media is in. I certainly remember the IRA being called terrorists.

I would say any assault on a civilian population by members advocating the advancement of a perceived cause is terrorism.

Thus, the xian you mention is a terrorist

The idea is to terrorize the civilian population and hope they influence the government.
