Niagara Falls survivor, Kirk Jones said he was touched by the face of God when he went over the falls with only the clothes on his back.

Makes you wonder what kind of omnipotent, omnicient god would enjoy driving a man to dispare and suicide then allow him to live. Probably a slow day in heaven.:rolleyes:
 
There we go again, trying to apply logic to religion.

Give the guy a break. He's not thinking clearly. People who aren't thinking clearly often say nonsensical stuff like this.
 
If I survived a trip over the falls, I'd have a religious experience too. I mean, Holy Cow, how on Earth did he live through that? And he walked to the ambulance.

Sad thing is he did this out of despair over financial problems, and now he's facing a $10,000 fine.

Yeah, but now he can go on the US lecture circuit and give speeches on how the Lord saved him and make millions! HE HATH BEEN SAVED! PRAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSE JESUS! And pass the prostitutes.

One of the things he was charged with was something like;

" Performing an illegal stunt... "


Sounds like a great way to generate revenue..
