Need a nasty massage bad? This Kansas newspaper just gave them free advertising! I'm surprised they didn't publish the phone numbers and hours of business. ;)

FBI Serves Search Warrants At Massage Parlors

Details Of Search Warrants Not Released

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The FBI said it served 16 search warrants Thursday at locations around Johnson County, Kan.
FBI Special Agent Jeff Lanza said the searches involved 12 businesses, which he described as massage parlors, and four homes. He said 175 agents and officers from local police departments were involved in the searches.

Four people were arrested on federal charges.

Lanza would not say what was in the search warrants. The U.S. Attorney's office said it will spell out the charges on Friday.
Investigators said they will be reviewing customer records and video surveillance from the business. Sixteen girls were taken to social and victim services organizations, Lanza said.

He said immigration officials are also involved in the investigation.
Lanza released a list of the business searched:

Lyn Spa and Victoria Square did not appear to belong on the list, based on the Sesame Street "One of These Things Just Doesn't Belong Here" rubric.

I am trying to understand how legitimate physical therapy clinics are treated as other than holistic health spas by the folk of Kansas City and Overland Park (which is a suburb, for those not familiar with the area.)

Shocked, I tell you, shocked.

Note for the skeptical: the last time I was in Overland Park, KS, I went to a KC Masterpiece BBQ restaurant, NOT to Victoria Square.

Sex acts are not against federal law- except on federal property. Sounds like a slavery or immigration issue.

Ha Ha, I said "issue" in a thread about massages.

The sad thing is, when I was 18 I went to a massage parlor for a real massage. I was actually that naive. Our town never had the places until the FBI busted the local shake joint king. After he was gone the places started popping up.

I got so many strange looks that night.

Hmmmm, I've never had a dirty massage. Is it any fun?

Oh wait... I think I said too much.

Apparently the feds are done looking for terrorists and have nothing better to do.
