I would like to know what posters at the JREF think of Nancy Pelosi. You can share your opinions, negative or positive, regarding her policies. I am curious to to here your opinions regarding this highly controversial public figure, and, instead of asking a biased audience, I would like to hear an unbiased opinion, from you guys here at the JREF!
 
By definition, an opinion carries bias... Hence the difficulty in getting an unbiased one...

As to Speaker Pelosi, I am not overly fond of her, but mostly because she does not strike me as a LEADER, but rahter a slave to public opinion. She comes off as not placing as much thought into some of her statements as she could, and is too busy covering her own ass to actually do anything.

Someone that I DO like in the senate is Barney Frank for being blunt, and SURPRISINGLY Al Franken (I honestly thought his candidacy was a joke at first) for his intelligence and also forthrightness. I am also a fan of Olymia Snowe for her independence.

My opinion is that she is the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and as such has not shown the flair, nor the panache of a Tip O'Neill, a Newt Gingrich, a Carl Albert.

Put another way, she's no Frederick Augustus Muhlenberg

Do you think some of her policies she is striving to pass are ridicolous? Such as giving tax money to those who do not want to work?

Irritating, heavy-handed socialist and power-hungry, bossy individual. Like many of her male counterparts.

Future simulations of Earth with realistic humans (or real volunteers, ala The Matrix) will demonstrate she and her ilk are not only not beneficial, but not even a necessary evil, but an active detraction from the improvements and quality of life for everybody, as years turn to decades, and decades to centuries.

Any takers?

Attempting to redistribute wealth is really a function of her being a liberal/progressive congress critter rather than the speaker. Don't you think so?
 
A whiny, self-serving obstructionist who seems determined to wreck the best chance the country has had for real reform in decades. I feel about her about the same way some Republicans feel about Sarah Palin. "Could you please stop being on my team?"

Actually, I misread your OP. I thought you wanted an opinion of her as speaker of the house. Of course, that means that my post made no sense.

Can you elaborate? I know she is a boogey(wo)man for many on the right, but I rarely here her discussed by liberals. Your post suggests the reason why.

Obama is not doing that as much as Nancy is. Nancy is taking her effort into giving money to the lower class, some of them gangs, meaning they can buy their machine guns, while most of Cali is left under gun control...or so i hear

hrm. It seems you've found her out. Indeed, I have it on good authority that Pelosi's intentions are to funnel federal money to the Crips and Bloods and use the gangs as her own private mercenary army, conquering all of the United States (or at least Compton) in the name of The Nancy.
