Does anyone have any experience with Mozilla Email? Particularly in a business environment. Our desktop support group have decide to standardize on this and are putting it on every desk top. So far every-time someone has a problem the only fix I have is to install outlook and have them use it instead. The biggest headache I have seen is with the distribution groups. If you send an email to 10 people sometimes they all get it, other times 8 or 7 will get it.

This is a major problem because the person sending the mail may never know that some people did not get the message. Any other Bugs with Mozilla Email I should look out for?

Recipients not receiving sounds more like a problem with your mail server.

I use it for personal use, and never have a problem with it.

We have not seen the problem with people using Netscape mail or Outlook. Also its in all internal mail (I hope) that we are seeing the problem with. I don't know why a server would randomly choose one or two people form a distribution and toss their mail.

Been using it as my main EMail client for over four years now.

This is a problem with the listserver, not the client. Mozilla should do all of the EMail functions you need, and do them well.

I installed Mozilla for a small company as their main email client (using a Linux server with postfix as the mail server). They've had no significant problems at all that I'm aware of - been up and running for 4 or 5 months now.

After doing some further investigation into these problems, it appears we have a hardware problem, in each case I found a nut loose on the keyboard.

Chock up another one to operator head-space.

Ah, the old ID-Ten-T component!

Nice detective work. I know how difficult it can be to solve a problem once you've set off down the wrong path to start with.

I have been doing this for many years, I always use the shotgun approach to trouble shooting, look and all the possible causes of a problem instead of focusing in on one.

It's my experience that if it's not one thing, it's ten things.

Love those short-between-headset problems.
