Is that correct?

I wrote "Attorney's General" - is that correct - as in the general of the attorneys? I was told that "Attorney General" is not correct. Is that even how you spell "attorney" - it sure doesn't look right.

Attorneys General (no apostrophe) would be the plural of Attorney General. That is, John Ashcroft and all of his clones!

Correct. "Attorney" is the noun. "General" is an adjective describing what type of attorney.
