Maria Telle is one and Nelson Mandela is the other.

I also like how this editorial passed judgement before US rendered a decision.

In 1984, Chesimard received political asylum in Cuba. She lives in Havana, receives a stipent from the government, has authored several books and poems and lectures openly on the island nation.

Federal agents arrested notorious Cuban exile leader Luis Posada Carriles near Miami Tuesday afternoon. He is reported to have been planning to leave the country.

If there is sufficent evidence, then Posada should be tried. But he should be given a fair trial. Clearly this is not possible in Cuba. I do not know why he would be tried in Venezuela but I am not knowledgeable about the case. And I tend to doubt that he could currently get a fair trial in Venezuela.

I do not know the legal precedence for this situation.
