Sorry if anyone is offended that I have insulted the Cathartidae by comparing them to that capitalist drongo.

Romney seems to think that the real harm done by the foreclosure crissi is that the banks can't clear the bad mortgages they wrote off the books fast enough. So the little snot says that government should facilitate the process of foreclosure so that investors can get in there and buy up the foreclosed homes and rent them out until the housing market recovers.

The sicko thinks that the tragedy is that people are losing money on their real estate speculatiion, not that families are losing everything they worked and saved for.

Setting aside whether Mormons are Christians or not, Romeny sure is not acting like one. Nowhere can one find in the Bible that investors are entitled to a profit regardless of how the rest of society suffers. There are a lot of referrences to a duty to see that people are not left sorely wanting in any essentials of life because of someone's need to profit from an investment.

The religious right should send this clown packing.

Okay, so it is a little unkind to compare a predatory capitalist like Romney to birds that eat disgusting things like carrion and bugs. That is at least a useful function. I can't really see where Mittens performs any function that benefits anyone other than himself and the heartless parasites who inflated the housing bubble and now want to leverage the collapse to their benefit while leaving thousands of working people homeless or renting back their homes former homes for more than they were paying on their mortgages, if they can still afford to stay there.

Actually, I usuually think of the word "drongo" in the context of a race horse with (as far as i can determine) an unblemished record of never having come in third in a field of more than three. (Rumor was he had a neural deficiency of some sort.)
